Layouts week 29 2012

HOOO-LIIIIIII-DAYYYYYYYYYY!
I'm so happy it's time to not worry about school or my internship anymore. The summer holiday started here too although that doesn't mean it's sunny. But it does mean I've got time to clean my home, to do more work out then I do usual, to shop, to read, to take lots of photographs and of course: to scrap!

So here are the layouts I made in this first week of my summer holiday!

First, a scrap therapy layout called No Graduation For Me using Not Too Shabby by Tami Miller and a template by Rainy Dayz Design.

Journaling translated:
The 10th of July would have been my day. In the morning I had my assessment and in the afternoon the graduation ceremony would be held for the other students who already got their approval. I would go and tell them all very happily that I too had just heard that I graduated. Unfortunately it didn't all go as planned.
The assessment went pretty good, better then I had feared at least! But after my presentation (which was already too long) and the interview and had to wait out in the hallway while Wybe and Isabel discussed. I was feeling a bit unease right then. It took them a long time before I could go back inside and indeed: they didn't have happy news for me. Because of the internship change and all the stuff that happened then, there had been too much delay. Which made that I was only halfway through the proces: I was now at a point where I should have been in April. And therefor I have to prolong my internship after the summer holiday. Yeah, it was a downer, of course I wanted to graduate now! But I'm not very sad, I kind of agree with them. I can probably start my new intership at DC at HZW. I am really looking forward to that already!

Then a couple of layouts from two years ago when I was living in Whistler, BC Canada. I made it using the great collection I bought yesterday: Picket Fences by Wishing Well Creations. And using some of the templates I bought with the $10 coupon I won by Rainy Dayz Designs!

Journaling translated:
I came with one suitcase and a bag, but when it was time to pack all my belongings, it turned out I had quit a lot more stuff then that...

After having some delicious food in town, we went to the playground near Blenz to wait for the bus to arrive. Lianne, Inger and the boy she babysits also came along to wave our goodbyes!

The next layout is also one for my Berniek Goes Canada album. I've brought my old laptop to the store a few weeks ago and got my hard drive back. With all my layouts and much more. It also had the plan I made for the album which means I now know exactly which photo's I still need to scrap, on how many pages. So I got scrappy with these old pictures. It's good I kept a blog back then, otherwise I would have never been able to retell the stories behind the photo's! :)

Anyhow, this is one of them. A perfect picture moment snapped by one of my friends. I'm not in my most flattering pose but I still find it an amazing picture! Lol!

I used one of the stacked paper templates by Rainy Dayz Designs and the kit Take My Picture by Just Jaimee. The alpha is named Sweet Briar by Celeste Knight.

On a sunny day Lianne, Rachel, Inger and me went to have a drink. We also ordered some 'fingerfood', or at least that was what we planned for. I turned out to have ordered sushi. Which was pretty good, as you can see in the photograph!
