Yesterday I made a layout for the Scrappin' to the Music challenge over at Scrappity-Doo-Dah. I received a $5 gift certificate recently for finishing enough challenged and earning points, so I browsed the store for something I would like. I came across Magic Travel the kit by SnapWings and I thought it would make a great world layout.
This kit is a beautiful vintage traveling kit full with hot air balloons, ships, and other goodies. And it was exactly $5 so a perfect kit to buy with my gift certificate!

I used a song by the Dutch tv children's choir Kinderen voor Kinderen (Children for Children, they
use to raise money with the records they brought out). The song is made in honor
of our national children's reading week which was themed 'world'.
I had lots of fun making this layout and people seemed to love what I did also!
Melly had put in in the Gallery Stand Out thread yesterday evening and tomorrow when I woke up I was told it was picked as Layout Of The Day! Seriously!
I have only once before won LOTD and that was with a b/w layout I made for Crystals Creations a year back. So I have put my special earned blinkie in my signature at Scrappity-Doo-Dah and I will do so to here, on this post.
