Away We Go bundle by Roseytoes Designs

The weather is starting to change. Here in the Netherlands it’s getting colder and rainier and that totally makes me want to sit inside and be creative. Just like I used to do when I was a kit: make spider webs out of a chestnut, sticks and some yarn. Or spend hours coloring in a beautiful coloring book.

When I feel like being creative, it nowadays mostly includes my computer and photographs. And if you’re anything like me, you still have tens of maybe even hundreds of (summer) holiday photo’s left unscrapped. I didn’t really go on a summer holiday this year, but I still have lots of photo’s from previous years waiting to be scrapped. I really intend to scrap them, but I just don’t find the right time or the right kit.

Well, now is the right timing! And let me also show you the perfect kit! Or, bundle even! Have a look at Away We Go – the Bundle. It was on sale last week, or maybe you already grabbed it when it was part of the Buffet a few months ago. Anyhow, take a look!

One big and awesome bundle, chock-full with lots of holiday themed goodies. You’ll get the complete kit (elements, papers and alpha), hodge podge, journaling cards, word arts, clusters, border clusters, stacked papers, quickpages and of course templates. All of that, for one low price. You know you love it!

Here is an inspiration layout made by me. I used the full kit, hodge podge and template.

Go and have a look over at the GingerScraps store, do some shopping and get your photos scrapped!

Sunday scrapping day

Hey there!
It's sunday and that means tons of scrapping time! I love these lazy days!
In the Netherlands, the weather is changing as abruptly as the month changed: there was even a little night frost that first night. Although not where I live, but it still got really cold that night and also in the day it's not much better. But hey, at least it isn't raining right now!

On friday, I had to do an interview for an internship I really wanted. I had already arranged the meeting before the summer break started and I had been really living towards this. Well, I am happy to say that I got the spot! Yay! I begin next tuesday which means I wouldn't have a lot of scrapping time after that. Or at least, I expect I will be busy so I think I'll feel like I haven't got time to do anything fun. Since I also hope and expect that I will be moving soon, which would also mean busy times. But anyhow, for now I got a whole sunday to scrap and I so I did!

Here is my first layout, made with the September 1st challenge template by Pretty in Green at GingerScraps. I love templates! I also used a kit by Pretty in Green, called King of the Jungle.

The next layout is made with last months daily download at GingerScraps: Happiness in your Smile by Kathy Winters Designs. I love the concept of offering a daily download all month and then have the challenge to use this kit the next month!
I also used a template, one from the Love You Forever collection by Roseytoes Designs.

Calendar templates by Roseytoes Designs!

Are you one of those scrappers who makes gorgeous, personalized calendars as Christmas presents every year? Or maybe you've always wanted to?

Well, I'm happy to show you two new calendar template packs by Roseytoes Designs! So get those 2013 calendars scrapped when you still have the time!

You can choose between center fold calendars or top wall mounted calendars.
Let's take a look at what we're talking about here.

8,5 x 11 inch Center Fold Calendar

8,5 x 11 inch Top Wall Mount Calendar

Aren't they amazing? I totally love home made calendars. Ok, I have to admit that I've never actually made one. But I do have several template packs in my collection. So that shows you I do like them, right?

Anyhow, I already made one month of the calendar. I used the top wall mounted template but I changed the sizing. Since I live in the Netherlands I need the A4 paper format for anything I print. We just don't have letter sized paper here. But it was a very easy change.
  1. I just opened a A4 size canvas in photoshop,
  2. also opened the calendar's TIFF-file in photoshop,
  3. and then dragged everything onto the still empty A4 canvas.
  4. I dragged the layers from the 'top' part a little to the top,
  5. and then the 'calendar' layers a bit to the bottom.
  6. Make sure it's all centered on the page an that's it!
Easy peasy! So don't let you get discouraged by the sizing if you need A4, just like me! It will cost you no more then a minute!

So here is that calendar month I made. It's for june and I used Roseytoes Go Team - soccer kit!

Oh, by the way, if you really can't decide which calendar templates to take, or if you want to make a whole bunch of different ones, Ryan was clever enough to pack both into a steal deal!

Love You Forever and a double pager template pack!

Hi everybody!

I am back with some more goodies by Roseytoes Designs! I am over the moon about me being on her CT and so I just had to scrap a little more! When I was uploading my layouts I made with Backyard Play in the GingerScraps gallery, I saw that the GGI collection Love You Forever was just entering the store of GingerScraps. And so I got some goodies and scrapped a little!

Here is a layout I made about my last 3 weeks: babysitting my sisters cat while she was on holiday. I love double pager templates and Roseytoes had a brand new pack of those! Together with the Love You Forever complete kit, hodge podge and journaling cards I am totally in love with the layout I made. Yes, I am bragging about my own work. ;) Do you agree?

And here are my first two layouts made with Backyard Play: the kit and hodge podge. I love hodge podge and Roseytoes sure loves it too! Most of het kits have beautiful coordinating hodge podge!!
